On 17.12.2004 the constitution was approved and signed by Bradford Arabic School executive committee .

 

On 25.6.2005 Bradford Arabic School (BAS) celebrated its successful completion of the first  academic year in the old Dar Al-Arqam building (16 Neil Street) :

In the beginning of the academic year 2006-2007 the school moved to the new building of Dar Al-Arqam in Claremont.
Almost 95 students joined the school in that year :

Bradford  Arabic School was recognized and registered in Education Bradford as a supplementary school on 30.4.2007.

In the academic year 2006/2007 5 students managed to sit for the GCSE exam . All of them passed with (A) grade ( 3 with A* star). the students are :

Bradford Education organized an award ceremony for all students of supplementary schools in Bradford who achieved good results in their GCSE (year 2006/2007). Our 5 GCSE students who achieved excellent results accompanied with their families and attended the ceremony which was held on 8.12.2007 in Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford. Certificates and gifts was presented by John Gaskin (Managing Director - Bradford Education).

It was a pleasant surprise to discover that Bradford Arabic School produced the best result among all supplementary schools and Madrasahs in Bradford in the year (2006/2007) !

The students enjoyed a nice trip to Eureka Museum in Halifax on 13.1.2008 organized by the school . They learned quite a lot about many aspects of science .. and they had a great fun !

A Strategic Planning day for Bradford Arabic School was held on 26.4.208 to discuss activities, performance and set plan of actions and objectives for the next 12 months.

On 28.6.2008 (the last day of the academic year 2007/2008) students had their certificates presented . They celebrated their good achievement in a nice sunny day !

Bradford Arabic School organized a trip on 12.7.2008 to Flamingo Land. Students and their families thought it was a great day and full of fun !

n the academic year 2007/2008  one student (Omar Issawi) achieved an (A) grade in the AS exam . CONGRATULATIONS Omar !

Also 8 students managed to sit for the GCSE exam . All of them passed with (A) grade (4 with A* star). the students are :

Bradford Arabic School moved to Byron School in BD3 with classes covering all levels (from reception to "A" level ) and functioning on Sundays . After the lunch break all students attend the assembly for a short while and also enjoy bit of sport  .. if the weather allows ! 

Meeting in Education Bradford on 16.9.2008 attended by Dr. Sharif Kaf Al-Ghazal (Chair of BAS), Mrs. Jane Arundale ( Primary  School Improvement Officer - Education Bradford), Ms Beverley Minor from Education Bradford and few head-teachers of main stream school in Bradford. Bradford Arabic Pilot is to start in 4 main stream schools for 2008-2010. BAS provided 2 teachers in these schools (Byron Primary school,  Lister Primary school , Atlas School &  Eastwood school in Keighley) . teaching on the weekly basis  by Mrs. Hayat Al-Halawa & Mr. Mohammad Isrib.
Kids really enjoyed Arabic language !.

Award Ceremony organized by Education Bradford for all students in Bradford Supplementary schools who passed their languages GCSE at  Cedar Hotel on Saturday 6.12.08 .   Mr. John Gaskin (Managing Director - Bradford Education) & Mr. Jani Rashid ( Head of Diversity and Cohesion  - Education Bradford)  presented the certificates to the students and the school chair.

On 19.10.08 , Bradford Arabic School Youth club had a meeting session delivered by brother Alyas Karmani  in Dar AlArqam

Supplementary schools'  Management Certificate  was granted to BAS on 27.1.2009.

An Article Published in the NRC  Bulletin Publication in London  in Jan. 2009.

Chair of school (Dr.Sharif Kaf Al-Ghazal) attended the Primary Language show in Liverpool on Friday 6.3.09 and presented  Bradford Arabic School experience in teaching Arabic in 4 English schools . He joined other members from Education Bradford and school head-teachers in a work shop held in Liverpool..
